Niko got diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia February 2017 when he was 2yrs 8months. That day forever changed our lives. He had a very rough beginning. He was missing a 1/3 of his blood and what blood was left was 90% leukemia. He would not have lasted much longer. Fairfax hospital became a second home for us. We are so thankful that he got to Fairfax children’s hospital when he did. He wouldn’t be if if he Hadn’t. He is is extremely high risk and has to undergo the most intense chemo treatments. He is now in remission, thank God. It has been a very rough journey. It’s a parents worst nightmare come true. I pray every day that it doesn’t come back. He also has osteopenia now and has toddler fracture on his lower right leg, which he doesn’t let slow him down. He has bounced back so resiliently. He is my hero. He is such a sweet caring loveable little boy. He brings joy to everyone he meets. This is a picture of him walking around a pond and throwing rocks in the stream Sept 2017. We try to do this as much as possible to make things normalish for out family. Thank you for taking the time to read a little about our sweet little boy, Niko. Love always, Nichole (mom)
Please could someone sponsor him. Thank you all so much for all of your help. We greatly appreciate everything!
