Tessa was diagnosed with stage four Neuroblastoma in 2008 when she was just 5 years old. She endured multiple rounds of chemo, radiation, antibodies, clinical trial after clinical trial for nearly four years. She never once complained or felt sorry for herself. She LOVED life and enjoyed every second she was given of it. After giving it all she had and never once giving up- Tessa’s disease started growing uncontrollably and she passed away in June of 2017 at the age of 9 years old. She has become an inspiration to others and shows people what it means to truly live your life to the fullest- as if today was your last.
